Abstract
This Act provides for development
applications to be determined by Local Authorities which are
the sole authorities empowered to issue permits (section 7).
It also lays down in detail the procedures for the preparation
of Outline Schemes which are the main reference against which
planning applications are assessed with a view to issue
permits and location of various activities determined.
It further allows for aggrieved
parties to appeal to the Town and Country Planning Board for
review of permits.
Any person aggrieved by the decision of the
Board may then appeal to a Judge in Chambers.
