Mauritius is a beneficiary to a project on the development of National Legal Databases for capacity-building to enhance access to environmental law information among selected countries in Africa . The Project is being implemented with support from the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).  At the national level, the Project is being implemented by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development with collaboration of the Attorney General's Office and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications (Central Information Systems Division & Central Informatics Bureau).
